Cyber Security Score tells you how safe you are online and how you can reduce your risk of being affected by cyber crime. It does this in 3 ways:
- It informs you of your risk level and the areas where you are the most vulnerable
- It provides you with step-by-step instructions for how to reduce your risk
- It keeps monitoring the security of your devices and accounts by scanning them and notifying you about the data breaches and vulnerabilities that affect you.
The score is calculated by using the information provided by you to us, scans of your computer, smart phone, router and checking if your information has been exposed in data breaches.
It is determined using over 70 different personal and technical factors. We combine your own answers with the data obtained by scanning your devices for security vulnerabilities and out of date software. We also check if your personal information has been stolen, send you fake scams, and check your home router. All of this information is fed into our proprietary algorithm to determine your score.
